Happy New Year! One of the best days of the year. Bowl Day. Not like it used to be though. It is still fun though. Coco is still amped up for the Rose Bowl. The granddaddy of them all.
This year, New Year's Day is a nice family day. We are missing Caz for the morning, as he spent the Eve at a friend's house. But my brother and his family are here. I get to see my nephew and niece. We had a nice, leisurely breakfast. We all go some one on one time with each other. There were plenty of leftovers to graze throughout the day. Naps of course were key. We built up a nice fire. It really was a pleasant way to spend a day. I think it's these memories that the boys will remember in the years to come. These holidays that will shape theirs in the futures.
